Season is the defining constraint
Hospitality demand in the Western Region does not rise gently. Hajj and Umrah step it up, hold it, and drop it — and Jeddah, as the gateway, feels it first.
This makes hospitality the one sector where the timing of your enquiry matters more than anything else in the arrangement. A requirement placed two to three months before a peak gets you screened staff at a workable rate. The same requirement three weeks out meets a short market, and the rate is not the worst of it — availability is.
If you run seasonal capacity, tell us your calendar once and we will plan against it rather than reacting to it.
The staff are visible, so we screen differently
On a construction site, output is the measure. In a hotel, the guest sees the staff — so grooming, manner and language sit alongside competence.
We grade English honestly. A man who can take a room request is not a man who can handle a complaint, and calling both “good English” wastes your time and his. For back-of-house we screen against the language your supervisors actually give instructions in, which on many Saudi properties is Urdu, Hindi or Bengali.
Roles and the rest of the building
Housekeeping and public area teams, kitchen stewarding and helpers, service staff, laundry attendants and housekeeping supervisors.
Most properties also need engineering support, and running one supplier for both is usually simpler. Cooling failures and hot water faults are the two complaints that cost rooms, so our AC technicians and plumbers tend to go in alongside the housekeeping team.

How early do we need to book for Hajj or Umrah season?
Two to three months. Demand in Makkah and Jeddah steps up rather than rising gradually, and a requirement placed three weeks out meets a market that is genuinely short. No supplier can fix that with effort.
Do food handlers arrive with health certificates?
Yes. Every worker released into a kitchen or food service role carries a current municipality health certificate. We do not release food handlers without one.
Can you also cover our engineering and housekeeping equipment needs?
We supply the AC technicians and plumbers most properties need alongside housekeeping, which is often simpler than running two suppliers. Cooling failures and hot water faults are the two guest complaints that cost rooms.
