Two different staffing problems
Industrial work looks like one category and staffs like two.
Running plant rewards continuity. A crew that knows the facility, holds permit discipline without being chased and is still there in six months is worth more than a cheaper crew that rotates. Here, turnover costs more than rate.
Shutdowns and turnarounds reward precision. A large crew, mobilized against a window that does not move, working a schedule that was fixed months ago. Here the only thing that matters is that everyone is at the gate on day one.
We staff both, and we price them differently because they are different jobs.
Welding is qualified, not claimed
Send us the welding procedure specification and the positions you need. Welders are qualification-tested against them before release.
This is worth insisting on with any supplier. “Experienced welder” is not a qualification, and a man who passed 3G is not a 6G welder. The cost of finding that out during radiography is many multiples of the cost of testing first.
Safety documentation
Crews arrive with plant safety induction and permit-to-work briefing complete, plus working-at-height and confined-space briefings where the scope calls for them. They attend your own site induction before starting work — we do not treat ours as a substitute for yours.
All workers remain on our sponsorship under a registered Ajeer contract, with WPS payroll and GOSI contributions handled by us.

Frequently asked questions
How far ahead should we book a turnaround crew?
Six to eight weeks. A large simultaneous release needs documentation, qualification testing and travel completed together, and the crew is only worth anything if it is at the gate on day one of the window.
Are welders tested to our WPS?
Yes. Send the welding procedure and required positions and we qualification-test against them. If we cannot find men who pass, we tell you that instead of sending men who nearly pass.
Do crews understand permit-to-work systems?
Permit-to-work briefing is part of pre-mobilization, and crews attend your site induction before starting. For running plant we recommend a fixed crew, because permit discipline improves markedly once men know the facility.
